Guidance from expert teachers in Jingling lecture series
On May 9th, 2023, we invited an expert English teacher Mrs. Zhu Jun from Yancheng Senior High School to give students guidance on their learning and career envision as part of the Jingling lecture series. The lecture was hosted by professor Ding Jianning from Nanjing Normal University. Professor Tian Zhaoxia, Dr. Jin Xiaobing and students in the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures attended the lecture. Mrs. Zhu started her talk from the requirements of the new curriculum standards and the practical needs of job market and then provided detailed guidance for students’ learning and career envision. Later, she made tailored plans for students’ learning and demonstrated useful strategies for teaching and interviews. Lastly, she encouraged students to cherish precious learning opportunities provided by the school, to deeply invest in their dreams and become a fruitful teacher. Before the end of the lecture, Mrs. Zhu also answered students’ questions elaborately and patiently. (Li Dongying)
